Staying in the Lys Valley doesn't have to be expensive! There is a place to sleep for every budget. Our campgrounds will gladly welcome you in green surroundings. You'll also find cabins at different locations along the most important cycling network axes. The small, wooden cabins can accommodate 4 people and are equipped with a kitchenette, table, stools, a bench and two double beds. Every comfort is provided; you only have to bring a sleeping bag or sheets, a towel and toiletries.
Similar cabins are also found in France; they are called Ecolodges. Spending the night in an Ecolodge costs as little as €37 per night; in Flanders you usually pay €40 per night. From Fiefs to Ghent, a night in a cabin or Ecolodge will be an unforgettable experience!
Cabin in Ghent
You can stay in one of the eight cabins at Blaarmeersen in Ghent. You are free to use the sanitary facilities at the campground.
Cabin in Deinze
Camping Groeneveld in Bachte-Maria-Leerne has five cabins near the large pond. For water, showers and toilets you can use the sanitary facilities at the campground.
Cabin in Harelbeke
Provincial Domain De Gavers in Harelbeke (Car Park East, Meersstraat 5) has two cabins hidden in quiet, green surroundings. The cabins are open from March 1 to November 15. You can stay a maximum of 4 nights. Each cabin is equipped with a small kitchen and four beds. For water, showers and toilets you can use the sanitary facilities for free. Price per night and per cabin: € 40. A cooking kit is available when asked in advance. You must bring your own bedding.
Cabin in Wervik
There are two cabins on the recreational island De Balokken in Wervik. They are situated near the cafeteria where you'll find the sanitary facilities.
