Walking Trail Networks

When you use a walking trail network, you decide where you walk and how long your route will be. You'll walk on safe paths that are linked to a connected network. A node is the spot where two or more routes intersect. You can map out your route based on numbered nodes. The kilometre markings on the map allow you to determine the length of your route. In the Lys Valley you can choose from two walking trail networks.

The 'Land van Mortagne' walking trail network leads fervent ramblers through the rolling landscape between Bellegem, Zwevegem-Knokke, Bossuit and Spiere-Helkijn. The 'Land van Streuvels' walking trail network opened in 2015. It allows you to become acquainted with the beautiful area around Anzegem and Otegem as described in novels by Stijn Streuvels.

You can order maps of both walking trail networks below.
